Audacious Introverts: use content templates

The start doesn't need to be hard

Sneak Peak:

  • Templates from a LinkedIn creative

  • Beat the blank-page syndrome once and for all

When I quit my job, the only way I knew how to generate awareness of my newly founded company was by creating content on LinkedIn.

If I could only learn how to write in a digital space, I could conquer any freelance writing opportunity out there.

What helped me establish a writing routine and can help you too?

Templates.

Let’s dive into this week’s topic👇🏼

Nick Broekema is an audacious introvert.

He is helping people build brands on LinkedIn that attract customers and help them sell their offers.

And the good news for you and me?

He’s sharing his approach with his followers in his feed. It is all there wrapped in a painfully beautiful design. The antidote to the AI bro’s crowding the platform.

This week’s nugget: a selection of hooks to start your post on a good foot (or fin): Hook templates from Nick.

Don’t start from 0

Templates are the perfect resources if you are looking to get started with content creation on LinkedIn.

  • They get you going when the mind screams „I can’t”

  • They can give away hints of what worked in the past.

  • and if nothing else, help you create a habit (content takes time friends).

What they are not: a quick fix to become viral.

So my one word of caution: avoid people with 100k followers selling templates promising „they work“ (of course they work for audiences of 100k. At that point, you have the freedom to literally post anything)

Start from hero

So here is the thing: I can’t tell you who to trust online.

But with time, you will identify your own heroes. The one you truly believe they put in the work and can teach from a place of experience.

Here are my favourites:

  • Big creators often share their content (or hooks) templates on their profile (→ Nick) and words of wisdom (→ Richard Moore)

  • Another example is Lara Acosta sharing a 30 day Linkedin template as a Lead Magnet

  • The LinkedIn creator profile. It helps me get into the content analysis mode.

  • Digital Content writing courses (I took Ship30for30 by Nicolas Cole and Dickie Bush)

And my personal favorite for visually pleasing content: Canva PRO. Just get started with literally any template in the right format and start making it yours.

The cure to an empty screen is templates.

Write audaciously,

Laura
