Audacious Introverts: create their dream job
Build believing

Sneak Peak:
This audacious extrovert created her dream job
Losing sight of your passions? Reset in 3
All of a sudden you can get there,
and you better be prepared for it.
I paused the interview.
Would I change anything right now if I worked under that assumption?
Alex Cooper is an audacious extrovert
(who appreciates her quiet time too).
Yet this Daddy is not quiet at all in public.
In an episode of the Diary of a CEO, Alex shares her creator business journey.
We may never walk in her shoes and know what being the most successful female podcaster is like.
But one thing is clear: Alex Cooper is a creator at her core.
The modern creator creates their dream job
Alex started as a spicy podcaster. And turned her show around to interview icons (and Kamala Harris no less).
On her journey, there is one thing that always stayed with her: She loved producing and editing the show herself ( I would not be surprised if she still does).
In the interview she shares that the most time-consuming job was not creating content itself but rather the packaging of that content into moments that would hold the listener’s attention.
Could she have hired someone to do that? Absolutely.
But this means letting go of a task she loved doing.
Would I change anything right now for myself?
I would never let go of creating. Short-form text, minimalistic graphics, this newsletter. Coincidentally, all things you can only keep up in the long run if you really enjoy them.
‘Build believing that this could be the greatest company ever.’ - is the inspiration I take with me from her conversation in the Diary of a CEO.
What can audacious introverts learn from her?
Stay focused on the task you love doing. The moment you get swamped in mundane tasks is the moment you may lose your vision for the long run.
Make personal sacrifices for your audience. I admire that the most about Alex. When you create, it doesn’t matter the time it took you, the hard work, and the effort. When you create something without any guidance from your audience, you may as well build in silence.
Stay true on and off camera (but know your boundaries). What matters is that when someone meets you offline, they can confidently say that you are the same person as you present yourself online.
The creator journey: It’s always a process, never a quick fix.
What is your dream job?
(I read every reply 🙆🏼♀️)
Keep up the audacity,
Laura
